- BEACH
- The beach is located on the north side of Kelleys Island and is one of only two sand beaches on the Island. Campers can choose from a variety of activities in and out of the water. Activities include swimming, polar bear swimming, snorkeling, sailing, canoeing, wind surfing, motor boating, out posting, sand castle building, participating in bonfires and beach Olympics, or just hanging out on the beautiful beach in the warm sun.
- CANTEEN
- Visit the canteen, located in the Recreation Hall, during open hours and you can buy T-shirts, hats, postcards, souvenirs, pop, candy, popcorn and snow-cones.
- CRAFTS
- Crafts at the camp change from year to year. In the past we have worked with tie-dye, hemp & bead necklaces, sand candles, whimsy dip, marbling, painters hats, puffy paints and foam magnets to name a few. The campers all gather in the Craft Barn recently rebuilt in 1999, to enjoy their craft session.
- FACILITIES
- Kelleys Island 4-H Camp can sleep 181 campers/counselors. The boy's cabins, numbers one through five, are located on the west side of the dining hall. The cabins to the east of the dining hall, numbers six through thirteen, are the girl's cabins. Each cabin can sleep up to thirteen people with the exception of an extra cabin behind the Rec. Hall, which sleeps only twelve. For the adult program staff, there are fourteen beds, six in the back staff area and eight in the director's cabin.
Also, the 4-H Camp includes; a dining hall, recreation hall, craft barn, nature barn, sand volleyball court, basketball court, archery and rifle ranges, an ASE course, horseshoe pits, two large athletic fields and clean rest rooms.
Each summer, the camp hosts over 3000 young people from 4-H groups, high school marching bands, church groups and inner-city areas at a minimal cost to each camper.

- HISTORY
- The Kelleys Island 4-H Camp was established in 1945 by a local group of people interested in starting a camp for northern Ohio youth. Today the camp is a 501 C (3) non-profit service organization comprised of 18 volunteer directors that govern and support the operation of the 22 acre camp on the north shore of Kelleys Island in Lake Erie. The Board of Directors employs a full time executive director and nine to eleven seasonal staff members that provide support services during the May through October camping season.
- NATURE
- All programs start with a brief introduction in the Nature Barn. These are just some of the Nature programs offered at camp.
- Morning Hike: walk the East Quarry in the early morning hours, see the sunrise, listen to the early bird, catch a glimpse of a deer, welcome the dawning of a new day.
- Glacial Groove Walk: visit the "Most Famous Glacial Grooves in the World", experience first hand the island's past as it was carved 30,000 years ago.
- Fish Identification: learn how to identify the fish of Lake Erie using a dichotomous key, learn the anatomy of a fish, and understand how fish live in water.
- Fossil Walk: shells, insects, brachiopods, coral, plants, who knows maybe even a fish or a small prehistoric creature is what you may find on this walk, learn how fossils are formed and what eras certain fossils come from.
- Marsh Life: learn how, what and who live in marsh lands, visit an actual marsh and collect samples like real scientist then back to the Nature Barn to identify and discuss.
